What is your exercise goal that you hope to achieve in three months? Hopefully, get back into shape after taking a couple of months off to take care of my wife after her neck surgery. What is your diet or weight loss goal to strive for in three months? I’ve been trying the low-carb diet and have recently added the 5 meals a day twist to that. I’d like to loose the 20 pounds I gained. How would your best friend describe you? Introvert, with a bit of a rye sense of humor, who lives to watch and make movies. Describe the type of person you aspire to be or what changes you hope to make in your life. I hope to look better than Ron Howard. At least I have most of my hair – so I’ve got one leg up on him in that department. If I could only make movies half as good as his, my life would be complete. What do you think thin people may not know about someone who is dealing with a weight issue? Some of it is in the genes and the weight definitely seems to increase with age, but mostly it is what we eat and how we exercise. The switch from sugar to high fructose corn syrup in a lot of foods makes it harder and harder to loose the weight. What types of exercise do you like doing? I like to walk – never could run. I love swimming and I’m learning to live karate. What types of exercise do you NOT like doing? I hate running. It seems I can never catch my breath. How often did you exercise last month? I began doing some walking and started going back to karate after my 2 month vacation. What is your favorite food or meal to eat? I can (and have) eaten an entire coconut cream pie, but now I’m finding that eating 5 small meals a day helps curb those cravings. I still use coconut shampoo thought. |
