November 2006 List

    Ladyraptastic has the kind of
silly and fun humor I love.
    Listening to  Ladyraptastic is
a great way to let go of
    everyday stress and just laugh.
     There are many more shows
    that deserve some exposure
and I will have future lists
    featuring podcasts.   I wanted
to feature a wide range of
    podcasts.  I would encourage
    everyone to check out a
    podcast, they are free and
    great  fun entertainment.

    I heard of podcasts and
listened to one for the first
time last week.  I used to
    listen to those dumpy radio
    programs in the morning.  I
    love your list and Scene
Unseen is a great one for us
    movie lovers!

I listened to the Lost Podcast
    and I am still lost!!@&%
Good thing I am a fan of the
show and can not get enough

    I think Creative Screenwriting
should be in your number one
    spot.  Next time, you should
    consider some shows that
are a little more "smart" .
    You should include something
that would be of more interest
    to women.

#1 Ladyraptastic       Official Blog Page   Myspace Page
"I am a woman who, through no fault of her own, gets into
trouble daily. Fights, thievery and drama follow me like a lost
puppy behind a homeless man holding a chicken bone."
    - Ladyraptastic
This show is for those who enjoy no holds barred comedy.  The
show is intended for mature audiences.  The more recent
shows are polished and I suggest listening to the newer shows
first.  The show is rumored to end after episode 80.  Stay tuned
because the fans of this podcast are going to show lots of love
and support to keep this podcast in production.

    #2  Scene Unseen     Webpage
"First and foremost, Chris and Jimmy are passionate about
cinema. Silent films, talkies, blaxploitation, coming of age, drive-
in horrorfests, road movies, chick flicks, Oscar bait, shoestring
budget indies, and everything else in between. They love 'em all.

Believe it or not, these guys are actually industry insiders
currently working on a major motion picture, in addition to a
bevy of side projects in the entertainment world. Their filmic
    debates became
infamous within their circle of friends and colleagues, which
prompted them to start recording the banter for your listening
    pleasure.

Now, through the magic of digital airwaves, advanced recording
technology, and the help of Producer Matt and Sound Editor
Ryan, they bring their quirky review sense to your attentive ears.
Hopefully, you'll find the show entertaining and informative...
    God knows Jimmy does.

Happy listening film fans and fanatics! Let the ranting
begin..."      - (from their offficial website)
Chris and Jimmy are very cool kats, who really know how break it
down when it comes to movie reviews.

#3 The Official Lost Podcast webpage
Executive Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse rehash
the episodes of Lost and take fan questions.  If you are a fan of
the show and are always try to figure out what  is going on,
these two are the one's with the answers...wether they spill the
beans or create more of the mystery, they will keep the
    excitement going.

    #4 Creative Screenwriting   webpage
"For the past three years, we've gotten emails from subscribers
around the world wishing we'd bring our L.A.-based screening
series to their hometown so that they can be a part of the
incredible Q&As with writers and directors that we get during
these screenings.  Well, guess what—rather than bringing the
series to your hometown,  we're bringing it to your desktop
    computer and/or iPod (or non-Apple MP3 device), because we're
    now podcasting our Q&As!"
If you are a writer or just a fan of films and screenwriting, you
will definitely dig this podcast!  The Q & A's really provide
some great insight on the hot screenwriters and their work.

#5  Distorted View -Comedy Freak Show  webpage
"Distorted View Daily is an adult comedy Podcast. Don't know what
a podcast is? Click here for more information. For now just consider
Distorted View a radio show you can play on your computer or mp3
player. (like an iPod) This radio show is vulgar, immature, and is not
suitable for those under 18 years of age.

"Every weekday host Tim Henson scours the web for bizarre
stories in the news and reports them back to you with his unique
commentary. You'll also hear bizarre erotica, definitions of twisted
sex acts, comedy sketches, and other audiophonic oddities."
-From Distorted View Show's official web page.

Tim Henson serves up a daily dose of commentary that is definitely
intended for mature audiences.  Tim is very good with keeping a good
flow and you never know what topics he will bring up.
